    Hi,
    Does anyone know that if I upgrade the HDD on the lappy, will it void warranty? Do they say this somewhere?

    Just wonder.

    I swap the original HDD back in last time I sent my v2000z in for service. (Still waiting for new motherboard to come in :mad: Feb 13.... tooooo looonnnnggg!)

    I was told by HP salespeople two weeks ago it will void the warranty, as they don't consider it a user-servicible item.
