well it cant load this one site i want, and then the internet browser (firefox) says not responding, wait a few moments it works, and then when i restarted to see if it would work better, but no luck it had a big lag when booting the popup windows, had this computer for about 2-3 months, i scan in norton internet security and windows scan, and nothing came up, i dont install any programs i dont need, and i only use laptop for surfing the web, etc.

now done with the info, here are my questions :

I left my laptop running on a pillow on my bed, it felt SUPER hot and it stung when i picked it up, could this slow down loading process, etc?

When i restarted my computer, it said check disk drive, i didnt see it till the end and it said it was recommended and radomly cancled the process even thought i didnt touch anying. Should i restart and do what it says?

Well if this doesnt stop, i was going to buy a new harddrive ( LINK HERE FOR MY FIRST OPTION) ( LINK HERE FOR MY SECOND OPTION) will these first of all be compatable with my laptop? people said that it would work for the 2.5 sata one (first link), but what about the other (second link), second half will it stop this problem and make it run faster?

Lastly how can i fix this, I get agrivated, should i delete all internet history (idk how to unless if its the way in the browser itself) or should i use the restore partitioin in the system?

    some one help please

First off, I wouldnt recommend keeping the laptop on the pillow or any soft surface. If you do want to use it in the bed, then keep a solid surface(like a cutting board) underneath the laptop to provide for proper ventilation.

As far as the web site not loading up doesnt have anything to do with the HDD. What popups do you see when booting up Windows? Try cleaning out the browser history and try opening that website in another browser.
