    Compaq Presario 2500 Cmos reset key combo?

    alright some one on another message board i visit is having a problem with his and it wont let him into the bios because its password protected. none of the back doors work of course. some one said something about a key combo you can press while it boots but refuses to tell because he aparently works for HP or something and is being an about something to do with "rules keeping him from telling people"

    so does any one here know a combo to reset the cmos or know how to reset them else ways, hes tried various other things.

    Search Hiren Boot CD, there is a program as Kill Cmos in this CD. It'll clear the Bios without open the laptop or use another program to read bios password.
    So there are two options: clear the password or find it.
