i just got my niece's PC from her (she's 8) so this is all the laptop she needs!

anyway i booted into windows and after about 5 minutes it just SHUTDOWN on me.... so i reboot,, get past BIOS into loading XP and BAM shutdown again.... then i let it cool a bit and tried again... booted and almost loaded windows fully and shut down for a 3rd time all at differnt points of loading XP or inside the OS...

i know this laptop has never been cleaned inside by anyone in the family,, and it's been 5 yrs since it was serviced under warranty... so that is the last time the fan was cleaned (if bantec cleaned it then)

i'm very adept at PC repair, but i'm also smart enough to know that a SERVICE GUIDE would help me more than my words can express...

if anyone has a clue where i can locate this document, i would owe you REP points for a while ;)

or just anyone w/ experience w/ this model PRESARIO 2700US who has any tips or pointers, i welcome all information and any help you may be able to provide!!

    thanks,
    bigozone
