Hello!
I hope this is the right forum. I am unable to send an email to HP support (mailer-daemon&co.). I have a Presario 710US and 1 week ago my house nearly caught on fire. I took the apdater to the nearest Compaq service and this is what happened:

Am I liable to a new replacement from HP or is this a "standard" issue warranty does not cover? Let me add I have used the laptop&adapter with great care so this is not my fault.
P.S.: any email contact from COMPAQ where I can send these pictures?
cheers,
Sebastijan

Ouch. I would go ahead and call them on this one. Are you still under warranty?

No more warranty. I saw new adapters on ebay starting at $25 thats no problem. I contacted HP and I need to pay some fee? I dont mind buying a new adapter but its the crappy quality and near disaster that really pissed me off.
Should I nag them further or I better forget the whole thing and order a new one?
