My Compaq Presario B1200 is not displaying its native resolution WXGA 1280x800 but instead stuck in XGA 1028x768 with black margins on the right and bottom.

I have tried running the factory restore a few times without success. There isn't anything in the BIOS settings for that either. I have also tried the driver update for the display and the adapter. The maximum resolution in the graphics properties also shows 1028x768.

    I would appreciated and advice.

    Thank you in advance ...

Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chip Family.

    What is GPU-z?

BTW, the display is showing properly in WXGA 1280x800 as of this morning. I am not too sure if it's the room temperature. Last night, it was about 69 Deg C.
