    Hello guys, I have the option of buying one of the following machines from a buddy of mine for 300 bux. Which one would you recommend? thanks again for your time. have a great day.

    Probably the GW, to be honest. Any warranty on either?

    It looks like the processor, GPU, HDD, and portability of the GW are better than the Compaq.

    no warranty whatsoever. he's moving so he's selling both of his laptops for 300 bux each, and I just wanted to know which one was a better deal for the bux. the thing is that I've read online several bad reviews on the gateway, stating that it did not last long to many owners and crashed on the first year.....so I don't know. And I don't know much about laptops. I just want the best one from these two to replace my "super loud fan" toshiba satellite....lol
