    Compaq Presario C717NR BIOS help

    I have a Compaq Presario C717NR I bought 18 mths ago. Anyway, while doing a BIOS update, the computer was shut off. So, now the BIOS is corrupted.
    *Is there a reset for the BIOS?
    *Is there anything I can do before sending it in (which I probably won't due due to cost)?
    *Where can I get a BIOS chip if needed? HP doesn't have "just" the chip to buy.
