    Compaq Presario CQ50-139NR(buyers advice)

    Hey you guys! I just sent in my Compaq Pressario V6000 in for repair the third time and this time they said it was unrepairable and they would let me purchase a new laptop for the same price I paid a year ago. Obviously I will be getting a better laptop then previously had, and I am torn between two laptops.

    I have to decide what to get only from Office-max(because that is where i got it) and i'm thinking of getting the Compaq Presario CQ50-139NR for $650
    Either that or the GATEWAY M-7317U for $629

    The difference is the Compaq has more HD space, a built in web cam (which i don't need) and a better 1 year warranty.

    The better choice seems to clearly be the Compaq, but I wanted your opinions on this computer. For school work, reliability,Gaming and overall functionality.

    I would go with the compaq i have had good experiences with hp's warrenty system i have gotten 2 free computer upgrades out of it. Also you never know when you wish you had a webcam.
