    Hi,
I recently bought this model from Wal-Mart, and I have a question. I knew better than to expect this notebook to be a high-end machine stock, and plan on upgrading it.

My first question is, is the graphics card removable?

    2. Can someone find me a link to a compatible microprocessor? This one is too weak for me, and I know that it is removable.

    3. Why aren't there two ram slots like listed before sale? They fixed it on the HP website now, but still. Does anyone know of any single stick 8g DDR3 SDRAM compatible with this notebook?

    Thank You!

The graphics is provided by your processor which may not be removable in your case (due to the type of socket, FT1 BGA 413-Ball - is it an AMD C-60 processor?)

As for memory, you should be able to upgrade it with higher capacity DDR3 sticks rated at 1333 MHz. Major name brands like Samsung, Kingston, Corsair, Crucial, and Patriot (PDP) should work just fine.

Here are some memory offers from Newegg - Laptop Memory, Laptop RAM - Newegg.com

Yes, it is the C-60. Are there any other microprocessors using that socket with graphics?

unfortunately, as i have taken apart this model laptop, the cpu is literally unable to be taken out. it is soldered to the board. Taking the CPU out could risk damaging the board or even worse, the cpu itself.
