    Compaq Presario CQ60-116EO uber Slow?

    My brother just got a shiney new Compaq Presario CQ60-116EO.
    (Dident show up on hp.com, but found it on the norwegian hp site.)

    Its crappy specs.

    CPU: Intel Celeron 2.00 GHz
    GPU: Intel GMA X4500mhd (Should be decent for WoW, CS 1.6 ect.)
    Memory: 2048 MB
    HDD: 250 GB

    It came preinstalled with Vista SP1 and a lot bloatware.
    Installed WoW and CS 1.6 and guess what, it cant run CS 1.6. :eek:

    Updated drivers and tried again, no luck.

    So, anyone tried Win XP Professional SP3 on them?
    Cant possibly run slower than M$ Vista SP1, Right?

    Any help is kindly accepted.

    looks like your system should have no problem with those games so IDk thats wierd. I have a computer not as good as that and it can play those games fine and its Vista too btw. so I don't know , sorry

    Any error messages when you try to load CS 1.6?

    Dont get any error messages, only uber lag.

    Other games i tried are HL2, WoW & Warcraft 3 (Latest patch).
    All these games where playable on a Intel GMA 950 (Exept HL2).
    Any help or a "custom" gpu driver would be helpful.
