Hello everyone. I recently ordered some recovery discs from HP specifically for my laptop, but I do not have the recovery partition cause I wiped it when I installed Linux on it. I want to go back to W7, and the recovery discs I recieved are telling me I can't use the "DVDs" to install Windows 7. Any solutions?

Unfortunately I don't have a key anymore cause it's been used and they won't let me activate it anymore. I tried using the OEM key but that failed.

If you use the key from the bottom of your notebook it usually requires phone activation.
