I'm having a problem with a m2000 screen, when it is turned on the screen appears as normal for 4 seconds then the backlight goes out. I have tried an external vga monitor and it works fine. I have replaced the inverter and the LCD cable and I still have the problem. Has anyone seen this problem before?

Hi Flipfire you were right, it was the backlight itself. I replaced it with the backlight that was in the other faulty screen. The one that had the two white vertical stripes, as it was ok. Now I only need one replacement screen for the other m2000 and I've purchased it on Ebay.
    Thank you for the advice
