    How 'bout this:

    http://www.pagecomputers.com/cgi-bin/page/B1497774.html

The Compaq has the Pentium 4 and the HP has the Celeron M. You are looking at about two hours of battery life out of either. Acer has the Pentium M for about five hours. Has better video card as well.

Check out the R3000 series machines with Athlon 64 CPUs. See CompUSA, Best Buy, etc. They're usually about the same price as the P4 versions but with a dedicated memory GPU and much better CPU (better battery life, performance, Enhanced Virus Protection). The shared memory video P4-based R3000's have no reason to exist.
