    Hi Marcello,
I have got v2000,which is lighter, portable and centrino, battery saving model.
R3000 is the bigger cousin,AMD64,HEAVIER,LARGER,HIGHER BATTERY CONSUMPTION.
    Both will suit your purpose.

Marceloc, both laptops are perfect for your needs. Now, the V2000 is smaller, lighter, and will get a better battery life, but its screen is a bit smaller. I also think the V2000 is a bit more expensive.

I would recommend the V2000, unless you find the screen is too small for you.

It would help if you asked your question.

The V2000 can have the Intel Celeron M or Pentium M processor whereas the R3000 can have the Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 processor.

You want the AMD Athlon 64 processor IMO. Depends what you are using it for really. If you are planning on using it as a mobile computer, ie, in class or outside of the home a lot, get the Centrino chip for extended battery life. If you are using it as you would a desktop as a desktop replacement, get the AMD Athlon 64 processor.
