The configuration of my laptop is-

    – AMD Turion(TM) 64 ML-28 (1.6GHz/512KB Cache)
    – 14.0 WXGA Wdescreen (1280x768)
    – ATI RADEON(R) XPRESS 200M
    – 256DDR SDRAM (1x256MB)
    – 40 GB 4200 RPM Hard Drive
    – DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive
    – 54g(TM) 802.11b/g WLAN w/ 125HSM/SpeedBooster(TM)

For DVD watching, I'd add the BrightView. I'd also get the 12 cell battery, it props up the machine for better ventillation and actually makes typing easier. The only other thing I'd do would be to add another 256MB RAM, through someone like www.crucial.com.

There will be a review up Monday, but don't forget the L2000 is the same thing, so price one out to see if it's cheaper. (Amazon has the L2005, Sams Club has one too)

    rally1,

I noticed the bestbuy unit has only 512MB L2 cache. Does this matter in comparison with 1MB L2 cache? The price is very attempting though ;-)
