    AMD Turion ML-28 1600 Mhz
    14" WXGA Screen

    80 GB 5400 rpm
    Three Hour Battery
    Windows XP Home SP2

My sister bought that exact laptop, and she loves it for a few reasons:

    1. Great price
    2. Good performance
    3. Deacent graphics
    4. Portability

But she hates the battery life, as I've tried undervolting it, but I can barely squeeze out 3+ hours with wifi OFF. With it on, I'm lucky to get over 2.

The heat can also be an issue, but thats standard for most laptops this size. The left palm rest gets a bit warm on this particular model, but after a few days it seems to die down, but can still get annoying. It also heats up underneath quite a bit.

So I guess it will depend on your budget and what you need. I was considering this laptop too, and actually reccomended it to my sister. But I ended up getting an Asus z63a and am overjoyed with it :)

    Yahoo,

You need to tell us what you're going to be using the notebook for. This will give us an idea if this notebook will suit your needs. The unit might be a decent notebook and others love, but my not fit you 100%.

The best thing to do is to check the link below so we know exactly what you want/need.

For basic school work (no heavy graphics work) and the odd game NHL 2K3 (games a few years old) should work fine on the notebook.

Since you didn't list of anything else from the "What Should I Buy" FAQ from the link I posted, I can only comment on what you just said.
