The price is $799 (Canadian). Plus they threw in a free 3 in one HP printer.
Just wanted to know if ,

1- The machine is good? My main work would be to check office emails, run some engineering softwares etc. no programming.
2- are there any particular problems that I should look out for, battery, noisy fan etc..?
3- Is it a good value at this price?
4- Should I buy a warranty $324 for three years? The only one it has is the manufacturers warranty.

    Thanks,

If the comp has everything you want for the price, then its a god deal. As far as upgrades I'd only say to stick a gig stick of ram in there. It will make things easyier on yourself. And the warranty? FOR $324!!! Screw it!

This is an older post but I thought I'd share anyways..

I have this laptop and I think it's great but the only problem I find is the cpu fan is REALLY loud. If the laptop is left on a while, I find the fan can't keep up with the cpu temp and the fan is (sometimes) always running, hence, always a loud fan noise.

Besides that I really like the laptop, I've had it for 2 years.
