Trying to restore my notebook, Compaq Presario V3640AU running Vista Home Premium, because of problems with software not allowing any new programs or old ones to connect to the internet after being uninstalled; won't work. Trying both to do this by burning restore disks or booting off HDD will result in a loading screen before the default Windows blue background will come up followed by a few command prompts which close after they're open for a few seconds with no text on them and then a cursor which is there. After leaving for a while nothing actually happens, this happens with both the DVD's and HDD booting options. What can I do to fix this?
