    250GB HD

everything look fine for me after i installed the drivers. But problem appears when i am going to play MAPLE STORY. The graphic kinda sucks.. soo laggy.. even worst than intel 3100.. ><" is there any solution for this problem? Nvidia setting problem? or not enough RAM? :mad2:

It's probably the integrated graphics. I'd turn all the game settings to the lowest possible and play on the lowest resolution. Also make sure anti-aliasing is turned off. Also, upgrade your RAM, since integrated occupies system RAM.

If it still plays horribly, then it's because of the integrated graphics. You're SOL, and should've done research before you bought the laptop.

Maple Story is an online game that has SuperNintendo graphics so maybe you should do your research before you give him advice and tell him about a bunch of settings that the game doesn't even have.

Have you tried obtaining Nvidia's drivers instead of the ones located on HP's website? If you haven't then I would give that a try, because there is no reason that Maple Story should play laggy on any computer. Also, if you are running on Vista, I highly recommend that you upgrade to at least 2GB of RAM, that could have a little part in the problem.

I'd bet on the lack of RAM over the GPU. The GeForce 7150 is definitely superior to the Intel 3100. 1GB is barely adequate for Vista. Go to Newegg or Mwave and buy two Crucial DDR2-667 SODIMMs, 1GB or 2GB each (2GB or 4GB total). You won't be able to use all 4GB with 32-bit Vista but if it's cheap enough it's a "why not?" expense.

I also facing the same problem, that is a bit lack when I play FEAR. The graphic card seems like not function as it best.

After I get some advices, the technician had showed me that it only use 64MB of me total memory (I already upgrade to 2GB), although is a shared memory graphic card.

He advice me to download a software to manage the graphic card, but he din't told me is which type of software or the name of the software. So, I still need to go search the solution. Sigh...

Another thing is, upgrade the RAM must depend on the laptop capacity. Like mine max RAM can upgrade to is 2GB. I not dare to try and the technician also advice not to do so because do not know it will harm the laptop or not. Not to say to stop you from upgrading your laptop, but better do your on research & have a better understanding on your laptop before you take any move.
