I'm trying to fix an old Compaq Presario 1240 laptop. (I know, it's old, but it's going to be for word processing only, and there's not money for a brand new machine.)

I've determined this Presario 1240 needs a new LCD screen. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Presario 1240 and 1200 have interchangeable screens? I've been looking on ebay, and I can only find screens for the 1200, but I'm thinking that might possibly work for this 1240 since they are both 12.1" and the body style is the same.

If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know....
    Thanks a million!
