    Hi I know more stuff about desktops than laptops. So I was wondering if anyone could really help me. My brother just bought a build-to-order notebook. He payed $818 for this.

    AMD 64 3200+ (DTR)
    15.4 BrightView Widescreen WXGA
    512mb Ram (2 x 256)
    40 GB HDD 4200 rpm
    128mb shared ATI X200 graphics card w/Hypermemory
    12 cell LIthium Ion Battery
    DVD/CDRW Combo Drive
    54 802.11b/g WLAN w/ 125 HSM/SpeedBooster
    HP Deskjet 3847 printer


    How does an AMD 64 3200 DTR compare to a AMD Turion processor? What does the AMD Turion have? Longer battery? I don't know much about it. Should I have upgraded to the amd 64 3500 processor? Is this a decent gaming machine?
