    Compaq R3000Z battery life

    I've been looking at the Compaq R3000Z to get for college next year, and was wondering if anyone knows what the battery life on it is? When you custamize it on the HP website, it gives you the option of upgrading to a 12 Cell battery, how much would this improve battery life?

    Yes, it greatly improves your battery life. With a 8 cell battery people were reporting about 2hours of battery life however, a few of us with the 12cell batteries are getting 3.5-4 hours of life easy. For 25.00 and a few ounces I def think its worth getting the upgrade.
