I am looking at the above 2 laptops and can't decide which one to buy. So i need your helps especially from the owners of these models.
This is my desktop replacements and will do video editing and digital photo editing plus school works that require a laptop.
Besides the difference of $$$, the main factors are the processors and video cards, which i'd like to get good feedbacks.

Based on the 2 units, I'd probably go with the ZX5180us because of the better video card, better look of the case & from what I've read, better speakers.

If you're concerned about CPU performence, battery life, and hardware-assisted virus protection, get the R3240A. The video card in the ZX5180US is a little better but still low-end, I'd look for one with a Radeon 9600 or better if you're really concerned about 3D video performence. It sounds like the bulk of your video needs will be 2D and digital video editing is going to go 64-bit very quickly after Microsoft coughs up the release version of 64-bit WinXP, so I'd pick the R3240A.
