Hello, i have a compaq v2000 with a Sempron Mobile 3000+(754 socket). Mother board Quanta 3097. The question i have is if you could swap in the AMD Mobile Athlon 64 4000+, or any Amd Mobil Athlon 64 processors. I know you can swap in AMD Turion 64 ML-37. I know this is an old computer and way outdated but im trying to give it a little extra pep.

ok so what i found is the sempron that i have now is rated at 62 watt and the mobile athlon 64 4000+ is also rated at 62 watt. the turion 64 ml-37 is rated at 35 watt. Does anyone know what bios i would need to reflash to if i use the athlon 64 4000+? or would it be better to run the turion because it runs cooler?
