Can anyone please tell me if the bluetooth receiver of the V2000Z supports A2DP or AVRCP Bluetooth Stereo profile or not?? Also, regarding to software, I heard that Windows XP does not support A2DP. Is that true? If it is, then what software or driver can I use so that I can listen to music with my bluetooth headphone?? Thanks.

I have no idea what those acronyms are but if you can post some sort of guide or instructions on how to test if our bluetooth enabled v2000z support those, we can find out. All i know is it syncs perfectly with our nokia6111 phone.

All I can tell you is that HP uses Widcomm drivers, which are supposed to be the best there is. Vastly better than Microsoft's Bluetooth stack.

    Hi,

I've just bought BT headset. Seems like I need A2DP profile.
Has anyone been able to update driver to get this profile?

    My BT module is

    WIDCOMM
    4.0.1.700

    Pls post.

I unfortunately have to rescind my endorsement of the Widcomm drivers and the Broadcom Bluetooth chips they're often bundled with. I picked up a Motorola stereo headset yesterday and A2DP was flakey to the point of being unusable. Had I read ccbr01's review here first I'd have been spared a lot of trouble.

Finally got Logitech BT headset for ipod to work with my
dv1000. Seems like WIDCOMM 4.1.0.170 driver includes
A2DP? Sound quality is pretty decent with no hickups.

    Hi,

Has anyone made HT820 BT headset work with dv1000's internal
BT? As Brian says in previous post, sound is very choppy. Is there
any workaround? Or is a USB dongle the only way to make it work
    (as mentioned in review above)?
