Ok where to start, I have a Compaq V3015NR its about a year and half old. I have been having some issues with it going lame on me. What I mean is the screen will go black and the computer will remain on. Sometimes if I unplug the ac adapter it will restart on its own, and be fine. Other times I will turn it off. Unplug the ac adapter. Wait a little bit and then plug the ac adapter back in and the thing will just power up on its own and work fine. Then a little time will go by and sure enough it will start all over again. The problem is, now it has done it again and I got the black screen but the computer will remain on and has absolutely no response to anything you do to it. The hard drive light will flash when you open and close the cd/dvd tray. And if you turn it off it's like it isn't really off. I mean if you touch one of my touch buttons on the top above the keyboard. It's not really a button it's touch sensitive if you know what I mean. It will just power up on it's own. It's kind of freaking me out. Oh and I don't know if this has anything to do with it but about a month or two earlier the wlan just quit working. It wouldn't even recognize that it had one. I read where this might be a bios problem. Please, I am desperate. Could someone please help me. I don't have the money to buy a new one and don't have it to pay a repair bill either. I have knowledge in computers but primarily its with desktops. Thats what I do is build and repair them. Not Laptops!! There a pain in the rear to work on. PLEASE HELP!!!!
