    hi guys,

    i need some help..

    just bought another compaq v3345tu.
    want to downgraded the os to XP.
    however during setup then i realise,
    it require SATA raid controller.
    but i search through their support, found nil..

    any guys able to help me locate which sata is require to setup?

    Get the Sata drivers from Intel

    http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-015001.htm

    If you dont know what chipset you have use the Identify Your IntelĀ® Chipset(i think you have Mobile IntelĀ® 945 Chipset family)

    Then put them on a Floppy or find a way to slipstream them with you xp disk(you might want to put SP2 on there to if you havent already)


    Alternatively, you could disable "AHCI" in the BIOS to allow the installtion of XP
