    I am considering getting this notebook but have not had any luck in finding any real reviews, information for it aside from some basic info... no real user reviews etc... I wonder, does anyone have one and if so please provide a review? maybe some photos?

    I also been considering a 9300 but I would prefer a 15.4 screen for weight/size but at this point i am trying to find something more along the price range of say 1300ish max...

    These are the specs i want:
    1.85 or 2ghz
    1gb ram
    128mb/256mb dedicated video card
    widescreen
    decent battery life would be nice
    good build, doesnt have to be great.

    Are there any differences in build quality? I was also looking between the two and the only differences that I see are color and the quickplay feature.

    Yeah, I'm wondering about the build quality differences between the two as well. I have a feeling that the V4000 is better built in comparison to the DV4000 but the DV1000 is better built than the V2000. :budget:

    I think both V2000/z/ and DV4000 are more popular than DV1000 and V4000, which means that we have a lot of questions and comments about the first couple and not as many about the second. I'm wondering which is the most popular HP/Compaq model? Yet, I'm convinced it's one of those we know the most flaws about.
