I have looked at a Compaq V4310NR at Compusa. Does anyone own one of these units? I have google searched for reviews and have found none. Any known issues with this unit?

IF you are looking for a review, look for v2000 (not v2000z), which is the series of this laptop. The only problem that I think you will notice is the weak GPU. This video card will not suffice for Windows Vista since it does not support DirectX 9. Other than that, it's a nice notebook for office work, surfing, DVD movies and some older games.
Have in mind that the notebook is thin and that's why the left palm area gets warm (the HDD).
