    Compaq V5015CA POST Code error

    couple of months ago my laptop kept on freezing and now whenever I turn on the laptop it starts beeping in this sequence 1-4-1-1. I searched on the web and found out it could be the ram that might be the problem. I have a friend who has the same computer so we switched our rams. His laptop works with my ram while mine still doesn't. We also switched out cmos battery and still have the same problem. I even switched the wifi cards but his laptop still works while mine doesn't. When i take out the battery and turn on the laptop I get 1-3-3-1 which indicates that no ram is there, but as soon i put in the ram and start again I get the same 1-4-1-1. I don't know what to do. I Took apart the laptop to check if anything is lose or any of the circuits are fried but found nothing. Please can someone suggest me what to do. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

    i took it apart again, disconnected anything thats connected to the board. Then I connected each part and powered to see which part gave the error. I thought I found out the faulty part but am getting the same error again so not sure. any suggestions ppl?
