    Hello, new to forums. :D

Last year i purchased a v6000t as a Christmas gift for someone. Before giving it over to them, i had to make sure everything was as it should be. I decided to run the system for a few days under its own power to see if any trouble would arise. Everything went well when the system was plugged into a wall. I unplugged it and began doin some clean up work on the software ((bloatware)) and used it under battery for about 1 hour. Immediatly after plugging the unit back up into the wall, i noticed a strange flicker on the left hand side of the screen appear. A good 1/4 of the left side had the faintest flickering which made my head hurt after a few minutes. It stopped after about 15 min or so. I emailed compaq, got an RMA#, and sent the laptop in for a chekup. After a few days, i got the system back. I thought the system was fixed, but the symptoms started to come back again after a couple days use. Im curious to know if anyone else has had a similar experience?

    Thanks.
