I just ordered my F527us and I am so excited! This is my first ever laptop and I have not been able to find much information on it or pictures. I purchased it on ebay so I didnt really get to play with it like in a store so Im kinda bummed about that. I really hope this is a good laptop. If anyone else has this laptop could you tell me how you like it? Or do you have any pictures of it? Thanks everyone!

go to tigerdirect.com, they have pics of a similar model. Or you can look for Pic of the V6000 series since the one you ordered is basicly a V6000 just few changes.

I just bought one at Staples (last week) for $479....then someone else on this site bought it at OD, they price matched it and he also got $150 in MIR's....he paid $330....what a steal.

BTW, for the price, I think it's a bargain. The battery life is about my ONLY complaint.

Decent for light gaming and multitasking. I think you'll enjoy.

BTW, I don't know what you paid, but in another forum called "best computer buys" or something, someone had a link to Dell for a:
    Core 2 Duo 1.6
    Dbl layer DVD
    160 GB HD
    1 GB ram
    128 MB nVidia graphics
    15.4" screen 1280 x 800
    802.11, etc
    for $599

I almost brought back my lappy and bought that...but the main difference is the 160 GB HD and Video card. So I'll save the $130 and get a 160 GB HD later on.

    Good Luck...
