    Which one to go for?

    Both coming out to be same price around $700 - Celeron M 1.3/1.4 , 512MB, 40GB/60GB CD-RW/DVD combo drive.

    I don't think there will be much of a a performance difference. Generally, HP's business class are better built. The v2000 is a little lighter if you will be traveling.
