    Compaq v2000 Heat

    Is the compaq v2000 made to withstand heat from the processor? Mostly the Turion Processor because if I get one I don"t want it t ocrap out on me

    What do you mean withstand? It takes the heat from the processor as good as any other laptop; v2000 and v2000z tend to run equally warm but that's not so much due to the processor as to the thickness of the laptops. They are pretty thin. Undervolting helps a lot in reducing the temps from the processors but probably the temps of the HDD are of greater concern. Anyways, the laptop should not be hot; it may be warm but not hot.
