What kind of RAM does the v2000 take? I want to order it with the minimum amount of RAM (256 MB)and add more myself.

    Thanks!

The V2000 and DV1000 take PC2100 or PC2700 200 pin SODIMM notebook memory modules. HP ships it with the PC2700 DDR Ram but it actually runs at the PC2100 DDR speeds of 266MHz. If adding a second module I would stick with the same type as the first one, PC2700.
