The other day I pciked up a v2410CA from my local store.
So far I am very impressed with it with one exception, battery life
I only seem to get 2.0-2.5h without wifi on and about 2.0h with wifi on.
I am thinking about getting the 12 cell battery.
Where is the cheapest and easiest place I can get the battery in Canada?
People who own a v2000Z series laptop with the 12cell battery, how is it, what battery life do you get? Is the angle the battery puts the laptop in annoying and does it really take away from the portability?
Thank You

Well, I don't own a V2000Z, but most reports I've heard place the 12 cell battery life at about 5 hours. Some say that the incline caused by the 12 cell battery actually makes typing easier, though I wish it would have just stuck out the back like the extended 8 cell battery does for the Dell 700M for instance.

If you have twice the cells, in theory you get twice the life. Perhaps eBay or if you have anything like pricegrabber up there that would be a good place to start. Some actually prefer the angle the 12 cell gives it.

The 12 cell battery does in fact give twice the battery life as the 6 cell. I wish really wish it wouldn't slant the notebook, why couldn't they have just made it stick out the back!?
Using the 12 cell battery with the notebook for example on your lap wouldn't be very comfortable for example now would it?
I've seen HP sell the 12 cell battery on their website for about $170 U.S. On CompUSA's site, they sell it for $150 U.S and on some weekends, they've been selling it for $100 U.S. Dunno if the same applies to Canada.
