    Compaq x1000 worth $150 for 1.7ghz?

    I don't do alot of heavy gaming and I only use hardcore programs every now and then. Do you think its worth the extra $150 to get the new 1.7 Pentium M over the old 1.5? Will I really notice the difference?

    Most likely the 200mhz wont benefit you that much, personally I think if you are going to spend that 150.00 there are 2 better options you could get, 1) more RAM from crucial, 2) higher resolution monitor.
