    the hard drive on the notebook has died and I'm looking for a new one. the current hard drive is MK6028GAL from Toshiba . will this drive is a good replacement?

    Yes, the Samsung will work.

    Note the Samsung is 3600 rpm and the Toshiba is 4200 rpm. Not sure if it will make a big difference though.

    installed and worked correctly. the speed difference is unnoticeable at all.
