So ive been checking out the dv8000t and e1705 trying to configure the best prices online, and wanted to check out the hp in person. So i went into compusa and saw their dv8327us for $1199 after rebate, and didnt think much of it because it listed the graphics card as a geforce 7400, BUT i checked out the device manager and found thats its actually a 7600! Suddenly it became a good deal, and when i configured the same laptop on the hp site including the $250 coupon and the $50 hp rebate(same one for compusa) is $1248. http://www.compusa.com/products/pro...de=339901&Pn=Pavilion_dv8327us_Notebook#tsThe catch is that i think it comes with the 17.0" WXGA+ BrightView Widescreen (1440x900), and its missing somethings i would have picked myself like bluetooth, and a 1.73 duo processor. Also is there a way for me to get an hp warranty when i buy a laptop from a retailer? Otherwise i would hafta go with the compusa warranty which is actually not that bad but more expensive, a 2yr total coverage(lcd and battery) with in store service is 200$, and 3yr is $300. Basically i would be at about $1400 if i bought it compusa with the warranty whereas it would be around $129 for the basic 2 yr warranty from hp , and thus my total cost from hp would be about $1377. Did the compusa guy lie when he said hp doesnt cover the lcd and battery, and does anyone know if compusa's warranty is actually good? A comparable e1705 would run me about $1617 after taxes vs the ~$1500 after taxes of the hp, but the hp looks nicer, and has the cool remote, im not a super gamer either so i dunno if the 7900gs is worth the extra money. I can have the compusa laptop tonight which is also nicer too, vs waiting till the end of the month for dell, hp to be built online. Need suggestions!

A little bit better grammar would make your post much easier to read and therefore you would probably get more responses.

I believe you can extend the warranty with HP at anytime your notebook is still under warranty. The warranty will cover the battery and LCD provided you do not damage them unless of course get accidental coverage. I think HP's accidental only covers one incident per part. Meaning if you were to break the LCD twice they would only cover it once. Battery coverage typically only covers the first year. As always, it is a good idea to read the fine print. Usually the manufacturer's warranty is better than the retailers.

I don't think we have grammer police per se, but we appreciate neat, easy to read posts, so that we could understand what you need help on.
