    Computer Locks up? Clean out fan?

    My computer keeps locking up and random restarts. I suspect it's over heating and that I need to clean out the fan. Any ideas? Also if I need to open this baby up, is there a guide?

    Try checking in administrartive events and see what has been logged at the time of the lock ups.

    I already started prying this thing open. The dv2000 disassembly guide isn't helping as much it missed a lot of screws.
