This doesn't come up in my search on the dv9201ca. I do see it in the links you provided, but since it doesn't come up specifically in my search for Vista drivers on my laptop model, I'm not going to chance it...

    Anyone?

I wonder if they have not updated the website?

    I have the Conexant.

My main concern is whether or not I have the Venice or the other Conexant chip, and whether this driver would be compatible or not.

    Ideas?

I hate this driver!!! Every time these idiots 'upgrade' this driver it kills the volume on my dv6375. And I despise the Microsoft CHIMP who wrote the roll back driver button. It NEVER works. Now I have low sound because I trusted HP to know what they are doing. My mistake! The last time this happened, I had to do a system restore to get my sound back. Anyone else have a better option?

I tried out the new driver and it lowered my maximum volume as well. I just reinstalled the previous HP driver and all was well again. :)

Well, get this: I had to do system restore to get the sound to work. I lost my anit-virus key through the restore and Outlook stopped working. I had to re-install Windows since fixing it would take longer!
