I just received a new 9700t. Through this notebook I am getting wireless connection speeds of 26-52mbps. On my other notebook with the same intel 4965agn I am getting 100-130mbps. Why would the new HP be getting such a lower connection speed?

Download Service Pack 1? Did you do all the updates for drivers and everything?

I've downloaded all of the windows updates that were available. I have not downloaded SP1 yet. Also I have not downloaded any new intel4965 drivers unless one was included in the numerous windows updates that were available.

You might want to download the latest driver off of Intel's website then.
