This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Connection issues

    Has anyone had this problem?
    I am connected to the internet. I can browse with mozilla. But nothing else is connected.
    I have a dv6000t running vista home premium.
    My side bar a couple of days ago stopped updating, now I can't get to the itunes store through itunes. Yahoo messenger says not connected.
    And for some reason Internet explorer, when it does open, says "Error reported by Venturi."
    I have no idea what this is about, I scanned my entire computer for viruses and such and nothing major came about.
    My internet connection says its fine.
    This is all a mystery to me that just started a couple days ago.
    I also tried to system restore to before I can remember this happening and nothing changed.
    Anyone have any advice?

    Are you running any proxy servers or anything like that? Try checking your connection options in Internet Explorer.
