I have an HP dv9035nr laptop and i get all kinds of bluescreens with Vista Ultimate. I've tried all the drivers on HP and Windows update and it has not hepled. I even tried a few sites like radarsync.com which scan for updated drivers, but they require you to pay before letting you download, so I'm not sure I trust them when they tell me I need new drivers.

The BSOD crashes range from afd.sys to various IRQL, BAD_POOL etc. I am listing some of the drivers I have below.

Do I need to update these? Should I go bak to XP?

Same problems with me just whenever I boot up. I just learned to cope with it, but it would be nice if they could be ridden.

It really sounds like your RAM is bad...

Try MemTest86 out to see for sure.
