How do you know it's not cooling your laptop? I also have dv6000(dv6119us to be exact) and i'm using Targus Chillhub with 2 fans myself:
    http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=AWE01US
It brought my hard drive temperature down by 10 degrees C. It used to be between 48-50 C, and with the cooling mat it's now between 39-42 degrees Celsius. The fans inside the laptop now hardly come on at all.
But maybe you should look for a 4 fan cooling mat instead. I saw one one ebay.

Firewolf, this is not going to cool your laptop unless you cut through your table and position the fan to blow from under the table to your laptop's bottom. lol
Return this portable leafblower and buy a cooling pad :)

    15-25C idle-heavy load ??????????????

rebours, How much noise does your cooling system produce ??

If I want to reduce the CPU-temp. to aproxx. 20C on my dv6000z, I probably need a fan from an old F16 jet plane, ..........running on full speed.
