I was browsig an online store and found this one: Dv5283ea.

Selling in Vobis in Portugal for a few days.

Being shipped with T5500, 2 Gb ddr2, 100Gb Hd, Lightscribe dvdrw, no bluetooth, for €1299.00.

I've noticed that they removed DV5000T, DV8000T from Us page, but they're still available in Europe.

HP removed them from the custom ordering pages.

Any HP model that is several different numbers and either have 'us' 'ca' 'ea,' or several other letter combos, like the dv5283ea, means those models were produced for retailers and are still for sale via those retailers.

Usually, notebooks that aren't available in the US can still be found in Europe for a couple of months.
    Maybe i can hope for a Dv5000t with a T7xxx?

    Can't blame me for dreaming....
