    i want to use Corsair DDR2 667 PC5300 inside my Compaq Presario V3211z.

    You want DDR2-667. That's what HP was using, I guess they switched to the cheap stuff for 512MB configurations. I recommend Crucial over Corsair, mwave.com had a fantastic price on Crucial 1GB DDR2-667 SODIMMs last I checked. Buy two.

    im using crucial memory.. so far im not encountering any problems. just upgraded my dv2145 1gb mem to 2gb
