I've been having some really annoying on somewhat breaking issues with my DV9000t, and I was really wondering if I should return my system back to CostCo in exchange for a new system. Thing is, I know they changed their policy from no questions asked to within the first three months, right? Thing is, I bought my laptop before they made these changes, so do I have the clause to receive the old warrenty? As it has been 6 or so months. And I have a feeling doing it this way would be considerably better than sending my laptop in for repair.

I think they grandfathered people in who bought under the old policy. I'd check that receipt ASAP.

I was grandfathered for electronics I purchased before the policy change. You may want to call to confirm, but regardless of what they tell you, you should act under the policy that was active at the time of your sale.

Wouldn't hurt to ask them. The sooner the better.
