    For those that ordered your HP through Costco:

    I've decided to order a CTO dv6000t through Costco tomorrow night. I'm curious as to how long it took you to receive your laptops once your order was placed. Tomorrow will be the 7th and it's showing the shipping date to be the 17th (probably 18th when i do it tomorrow). I'm leaving for vacation this friday morning and will be getting back saturday the 16th. I should make it back before my laptop gets there...no problem, right?

    On a unit I CTO'd in April-2006 ship date was showing as the 12th...

    Placed the order on the 3rd, Unit was handled over to Fed-Ex Friday the 7th @3:54 after the Fed-EX cut-off..... and was delivered East Coast USA the 10th by 8:30am.

    does Costco/HP usually use FedEx for CTO? just curious so i can make a phone call ahead of time if needed

    Fed-Ex on my order... you should receive a e-mail when the item ships...

    Fiqure 7 days from the time you place the order... could be 10, or maybe more depending on the factory...time of year and all...

    Rule #1 in business being to under-promise, and over-deliver.

    If you're getting back the 16th, it might have already came...

    This time of the year orders might take a little longer. I placed my order on the 29th of novermber. The est. build date is the 8th but i still havnt head from them yet, i know it is still a bit early but... i ordered a notebook earlier this year and they shipped it out before the build date.
